Trim Z® is produced by Terrace Pharmaceuticals to help overweight people to tackle obesity.
The main component Orlistat is classified as a lipase inhibitor. It blocks the action of gastric and pancreatic lipases in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract and thus decreases the fat absorption.
It is recommended to use Trim Z® in conjunction with a well-balanced, low-calorie foods that contain up to 30% of calories from fat.
Trim Z® can be taken by people with such health conditions as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and in heart patients.
The goal of Trim Z® is to help to get rid of excess fat in the body and to stop weight gain after losing weight.
Dosage
Trim Z® is available in the form of pills.
Taken one pill orally 3 times a day during the main meal or up to 1 hour after the meal.
The diet of the patient should include three main meals, containing the daily dose of fat, carbohydrate, and protein.
The daily intake of fat should be no more than 30% of your total daily caloric intake (e.g., eating 1200 calories per day, no more than 360 of those calories should be in the form of fat).
The dose of Trim Z® should be omitted if a meal is missed or does not contain fat.
Treatment with Trim Z® should not continue for more than 6 months and should be stopped after 12 weeks if patient has been unable to lose at least 5 % of the body weight.
If you lose enough weight for your BMI to fall below 28 kg/m², Trim Z® can no longer be supplied.
Missing a dose
If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not exceed the doctor's recommended dose.
Overdose
If an overdose occurs and you are not feeling well, you should seek emergency medical attention or contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) and away from excess moisture and heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.
