Femalefil® is available in the form of chewable pills, meaning that the active ingredient is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream and starts acting instantly.
The active ingredient of Femalefil® Tadalafil is classified as phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme inhibitor (PDE-5 inhibitor). This enzyme is responsible for the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), that is produced in response to sexual stimulation. cGMP is mainly responsible for increasing and decreasing the size of the blood vessels carrying blood to and from the vagina, respectively, and causing the flush. When the cGMP is destroyed by phosphodiesterase-5, the blood vessels return to their normal size, blood leaves the vaginal area, and the flush ends. Tadalafil inhibits phosphodiesterase-5 so that cGMP stays around longer. The persistence of cGMP leads to a more prolonged engorgement of the vaginal flush with blood. It relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to particular areas of the body.
Therefore, Femalefil® successfully treats genital female sexual arousal/interest disorder (FSAD) by providing an adequate lubrication and genital swelling until completion of sexual intercourse.
Studies show, that Femalefil® appeared to be effective in premenopausal women with type 1 diabetes or with multiple sclerosis who are affected by sexual arousal disorder and in women with antidepressant-associated sexual dysfunction.
The effect of Femalefil® can last up to 36 hours.
Femalefil® is also used in the treatment of PAH (pulmonary arterial hypertension).
Femalefil® does not protect you or your partner from sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy.
Dosage
Chew one tablet until it dissolves completely 15-30 minutes before sexual intercourse.
By just swallowing this medication instead of chewing it or letting it dissolve, you will not achieve the desired results.
Femalefil® isn't absorbed in the stomach so that alcohol, fatty meals, and other products do not interfere with the effective process of medication.
Dosage depends on the overall health state. Take Femalefil® when it is suitable for you and your partner.
Femalefil® can't be taken more than once a day.
Missing a dose
Femalefil® is used only when needed, therefore missed dosages are not relevant. Do not exceed the doctor's recommended dose. Do not take a double dose of Femalefil®.
Overdose
If an overdose occurs and you are feeling unwell, you should seek emergency medical attention or contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) and away from excess moisture and heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.
